About these dinosaur coloring pages
Each page features T. rex, triceratops, stegosaurus, volcanoes and ferns. Dinosaur pages are a reliable favorite for science units and for boys and girls who are into fossils. Big, round dinosaurs suit toddlers and preschoolers, and detailed skeleton scenes are good for older kids.
Every page downloads as a PDF with clean black outlines on a white background, ready for US Letter or A4 paper.
Coloring tips
- Try greens, browns, oranges and a bright accent for the spikes. Dull-colored crayons give a natural look to scales and bark.
- Crayons work on plain printer paper and are great for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Markers look bolder but can soak through, so print on 65 lb cardstock.
- Colored pencils are best for blending and fine detail on older kids’ pages.
Activity ideas
