Font generator — fancy text to copy and paste
Type once and see your words in every fancy style: cursive, bold, gothic, bubble, tiny, upside down and more. Tap to copy, paste anywhere, or print it.
In short: This fancy font generator turns your text into 35 copy-and-paste styles at once, from 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮 and 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝 to 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠, Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ and uʍop ǝpᴉsdn ʇxǝʇ. Copy-paste text lives on screens. These turn the same words into a free printable sheet for tracing or coloring.
How do fancy font generators work?
A fancy text generator does not change the font of your text; it changes the characters. Unicode, the standard every phone and computer uses for text, contains whole alphabets that already look styled: bold, italic, script, fraktur, double-struck and monospace letters for math, circled and squared letters, fullwidth letters, small capitals and superscripts. The generator maps each a–z, A–Z and 0–9 to the matching character in one of those alphabets, adds combining marks for underline or strikethrough, or borrows look-alike letters from other scripts. Anything without a match, such as punctuation, accented letters and emoji, passes through unchanged. Because the result is ordinary text, it survives copy and paste into bios, captions, comments and names, as long as the reader’s device has a font for those characters.

Fancy text vs real fonts
Copy-paste text works where you cannot choose a font: social bios, comments, chat apps. For posters, cards, worksheets and anything you print, a real font looks far better and supports every letter, accent and number. That is why every Linecraft font page ends with a print section: the same words as a cursive tracing sheet, big gothic or calligraphy outlines to color, or bubble letters.
Where can you paste fancy fonts?
These are not real fonts. Each letter is swapped for a Unicode character that already looks styled, so the result is plain text that pastes into almost any app. Whether a style shows up depends on the fonts installed on the phone or computer that reads it:
| Place | What usually works |
|---|---|
| Instagram bio, captions, comments | Most styles. Names allow them too, but they are harder to search for |
| TikTok bio and captions | Most styles; the username field accepts plain letters only |
| Discord messages, nicknames, server names | Most styles; combining lines (strikethrough, underline) can stack oddly |
| X, Facebook, Threads, YouTube comments | Most styles |
| Text messages and email | Depends on the receiving phone; older Android phones may show boxes |
| Usernames, passwords, school portals | Usually blocked or turned back into plain letters |
If a friend sees empty boxes (□) or question marks, their device has no glyph for that character. Script, bold, italic, gothic and bubble styles are the safest; look-alike “weird” styles and stacked marks are the most likely to break.
Use fancy text kindly
Screen readers read many of these characters one by one (“mathematical bold script capital H…”) or skip them, and search boxes rarely match them. Keep fancy text for a name, a heading or a few words, and write the important part (dates, links, how to reach you) in plain letters.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best cool font generator for Instagram?
Any generator that outputs Unicode characters works on Instagram. Script, bold and bubble styles display on almost every phone; look-alike styles are riskier. This one shows all 35 styles at once so you can compare.
Can I make fancy text with numbers?
Bold, sans, double-struck, monospace, wide, circled, black bubble and tiny styles include numbers. Script, fraktur and most look-alike styles keep plain digits.
Do accented letters work?
Unicode has no fancy versions of é, ñ or ü, so they pass through unchanged and look plain next to styled letters.
Why do some letters show up as boxes?
The app or phone reading your text has no font with that character. Your text is fine; it just cannot be drawn there. Pick a script, bold or bubble style, which almost every device supports.
Is this font generator free?
Yes. Every style, the copy button and the printable PDFs are free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The text is converted in your browser and is never sent to us.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Type your text, tap Copy next to the style you like, then long-press in Instagram, TikTok or Discord and paste.
