Addition worksheets
Column addition from two-digit numbers to five-digit numbers. Medium sheets always need regrouping (carrying), and every PDF has an answer key.
How to solve them
- Line up the digits by place value: ones under ones, tens under tens.
- Add the ones column first.
- If a column adds up to 10 or more, write the ones digit and carry the 1 to the next column.
- Keep going left until every column is added.
Ready-to-print addition worksheets
Nine fixed sets — three per level. Each PDF has the problems followed by the answer key.

| Easy | 2-digit + 2-digit | 1–2 |
| Medium | 3-digit + 3-digit, always with regrouping | 2–3 |

Frequently asked questions
Do the problems need carrying?
Medium problems always regroup in the ones column. Easy and hard problems carry sometimes, like real-world sums.
Can I print more than one page?
Choose 40 problems to get two pages of questions plus two answer-key pages.
Is there an answer key?
Yes. The PDF always ends with an answer key for the same problems, so you can print the questions for students and keep the key. Every answer is checked by automated tests.
Can I print the same worksheet again later?
Yes. Every sheet has a set number (the seed) printed in the footer and saved in the page address. Open the same link, or type the same level, count and set number, and you get exactly the same problems and answer key.
