Multiplication worksheets
Pick a level, choose how many problems you want and print. Facts practice for third grade, multi-digit multiplication for fourth and fifth — every sheet ends with an answer key.
How to solve them
- Multiply the ones digit of the bottom number by every digit of the top number, right to left, carrying as you go.
- For a 2-digit multiplier, write a 0 in the ones place of the second row, then multiply by the tens digit.
- Add the rows to get the product.
Ready-to-print multiplication worksheets
Nine fixed sets — three per level. Each PDF has the problems followed by the answer key.
What each level practises
| Level | Problems | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | Facts from 0 × 0 to 12 × 12 | 3 |
| Medium | 2- and 3-digit numbers × a 1-digit number | 4 |
| Hard | 2- and 3-digit numbers × a 2-digit number | 4–5 |
Tips for multiplication practice
- Keep the multiplication chart nearby for the first few sheets, then take it away.
- Time one easy sheet a week and track the score — fluency comes from short, regular practice.
- On medium and hard sheets, estimate first (48 × 7 is about 50 × 7 = 350) and compare with the exact answer.
- Turn the paper sideways to use the lines as columns if place value gets messy.
